Forschner 40550 9.5" Serrated Offset Bread Slicing Knife Solingen Germany

Forschner Fibrox 9.5 offset bread knife with black synthetic handle, made in Solingen Germany. The older model number, as stamped on the blade, is 40550. The blade is offset to ease the cutting of large sandwiches. The offset handle ensures that a cook's knuckles will not touch the cutting surface when the blade has cut all the way through the food. Forschner is also known as Victorinox, the Swiss Army knife company. The knife is new old store inventory.
