Hard Tennis Ball Rescue Pressurized Storage Case (with Metal Valve) You won't regret it!
This is a homemade pressurized tennis ball storage case, a pressure retainer designed to substitute for commercially available ball rescuers or ball savers. It uses a metal valve, so there's no worry about it coming off like a rubber valve.
(Important Notes)
This product is shipped after being pressurized with actual balls and confirming its specifications are problem-free before packing.
The case only is included; balls and air pumps are not.
For shipping, the ball case will be pressurized to 1.5 atm for protection. When using, please release the air from the valve and open the lid. The lid can be easily opened and closed by holding the gray part and using a screwdriver or similar tool (Photo 4). Do not hold the transparent case part when opening or closing, as it may break.
When closing, refer to the magic marker position as a guide.
Air can be easily added using a bicycle or car tire pump. A pump with a pressure gauge is convenient.
Before adding air, ensure there is no sand or felt on the O-ring or screw threads, as this can cause air leaks.
Air can be easily added using a bicycle or car tire pump.
Normally, new balls are at 1.8 atm. After one use, pressurize to about 1.8-2.0 atm for about a week.
The case has been tested up to 3 atm.
If tightening is not smooth, we recommend applying commercial silicone grease to the screw threads and O-ring.
Sometimes the last ball can be difficult to remove, but it can be easily taken out by hooking it with your fingernail.
As this is a homemade product, please understand that there may be some scratches, dirt, or cloudiness from adhesive from the manufacturing process.
We cannot be held responsible for any damages incurred from the use of this product. Please purchase with understanding.
[How to Use]
For frequent use, we recommend rotating between several storage cases.
Here's a reference for how I use it:
At home, I use about 10 storage cases, writing the date and pressure on masking tape, and rotate them to restore ball pressure.
On practice days, I bring the storage cases, air pump, screwdriver, and non-slip gloves in my shoe bag.
With this method of use, the balls can be used until the fuzz is almost completely gone.
When I use it at home, I use the tire pump from the tire repair kit that comes with most recent cars (photo). It's convenient!
