STEINBERGER L2 (1983) Excellent Player's Condition

Description
This is a black Steinberger L-2.
It's a Brooklyn-era unit with a serial number in the 900s.
Comes with its original case.
Leg rest is missing.

It was PLEK'd at SLEEK ELITE and refretted with Evo Gold.
I believe the condition of the instrument itself is quite good.
Evo Gold is now discontinued, so this might be of particular interest for that reason.

Despite refretting it, my activities shifted towards a more vintage sound, so it rarely got used. It was mostly just kept at home for occasional sound checks, so I've decided to downsize my equipment.

The original logo sticker, characteristic of early L-2 models, has peeled off, and there are some minor scratches and partial chips on the knobs due to age. However, as mentioned, the overall condition of the instrument is very good.

I've owned several Steinberger guitars over the years, and I've found that not many maintain their condition well, even with their one-piece graphite construction. In fact, because there are no adjustment mechanisms like a truss rod, the initial quality of the instrument has a direct impact, and once the condition deteriorates, it's difficult to fix with regular maintenance.
If you're looking for a well-maintained instrument and aren't fixated on original frets, please consider this one.
