Vintage BOTTEGA VENETA Grey Marco Polo? Men’s Coin Holder ULTRA-RARE Leather

Ultra-Rare vintage Bottega Veneta men’s coin holder, expertly crafted in Italy from richly textured embossed leather in a sophisticated slate grey / gray hue. Gently used with signs of wear but still in amazing condition for a piece so vintage.   This uncommon piece is believed to date to the late 1980s - early 90s and is thought to be from Bottega Veneta’s sought-after Marco Polo era, known for its distinctive embossed leather construction. While the exact model has proven exceptionally difficult to document, the leather, craftsmanship, and vintage branding are highly consistent with that period.  Unlike the brand’s iconic Intrecciato weave, this understated design showcases beautifully embossed leather with a refined minimalist aesthetic that has become increasingly desirable among collectors of vintage Bottega Veneta.  An exceptionally scarce find, I was unable to locate another example of this compact men’s coin holder currently available on the resale market.  One lone comp has been sold and the webpage has been deleted (only the thumbnail survived). This is a UNICORN!
