These utility pitchers were commonly produced in the United States during the early-to-mid 20th century (approximately 1920s–1950s) for farm, dairy, and household use. CANCO produced a variety of tinplate and galvanized steel household containers during this era.    This pitcher has developed an attractive aged patina with surface oxidation that gives it excellent primitive farmhouse character. It displays well as rustic décor, while also appealing to collectors of vintage dairy, country store, and agricultural memorabilia.    Condition:  Good vintage condition with age-related rust, oxidation, scratches, and wear.
