Dreamcast VA1 Motherboard, MilCD, Battery Fuse Replaced, Black Shell Swapped

This is a Dreamcast console compatible with Mil-CD, refitted with a new aftermarket shell, featuring a socketed internal battery and replaced with a resettable fuse.

■ Refurbishment Details

1. Internal Battery Socketing
The internal battery has been socketed for easy replacement.
The battery has been replaced with a new ML2032 rechargeable battery.
Operation has been confirmed for over 3 hours with attached software, including charging, to ensure normal functionality.

2. Controller Port Fuse Replacement
The fuses for the controller ports on the main unit have been replaced with resettable fuses.
Original fuses are prone to blowing if peripherals like the Puru Puru Pack are inserted or removed during operation, and once blown, they cannot be restored without replacement.
This unit is designed to reset automatically by unplugging the power for approximately 1 minute if the fuse is triggered.

3. Cleaning and Maintenance
- The main unit has been cleaned with alcohol.
(Please forgive any minor remaining dirt.)
- The pickup lens has also been cleaned.

4. Contact Maintenance
Contact enhancer has been applied to the Dreamcast-side terminals of the included controller and video cable to ensure long-term usability.

■ Condition

The main unit has been refitted with a new shell and is in excellent condition.
However, the accessories (controller, Visual Memory, etc.) show signs of age-related discoloration and scratches.
Please refer to the photos for details.

While maintenance has been performed, this is an older product, and we cannot guarantee the operation of all software.
Please consider this purchase with the understanding that it is a device over 20 years old.
