Preowned Handmade Peruvian shoulder bag combining a panel of vibrant Andean aguayo textile (rainbow stripes with pink, orange, gold, teal micro-patterns) with a solid dark denim panel on the reverse. Coral rope handles with brown leather tabs, Peru-branded interior lining. Aguayo is the traditional handwoven wool cloth of the Andean highlands, historically woven by Quechua and Aymara women for carrying babies and market goods on the back. Contemporary Peruvian artisans repurpose these bright striped textiles into modern bags, and this one is a great split-panel design pairing the aguayo with denim, done by a workshop that branded the interior lining with 'Peru' repeats and their contact email. Coral cotton rope handles knotted through gold O-rings.
