Etched Glass Nappy Bowl, Depression Era Clear Crystal Serving Bowl, 1930s

Charming vintage etched glass nappy bowl, a beautiful example of Depression Era or Early American Pattern Glass. This piece features a delicate, frosted floral and leaf etching around the body and typically a starburst pattern on the base, giving it classic antique appeal. The unique shape, sometimes referred to as a spittoon jar or creamer bowl by collectors, features a wide opening and a small pinched spout, originally designed for easy pouring of nuts, berries, or condiments. From the 1930s, it is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and the last photo shows a small scratch near the top. Measures 3.5 tall by 3 & 1/4 wide.
