Thank you for looking.
This is a Besson Sovereign 944 tenor bass trombone from the long-established British instrument manufacturer BESSON. The bell is engraved with the BESSON and boosey&hawkes double name.
I purchased it for ensemble and practice, but I am now selling it as part of decluttering.
At the end of last year, the instrument underwent tube cleaning and adjustment, and the slide stopper was replaced. It has been used about 3 times since then.
The stopper mechanism is unique.
As shown in the photos, there are minor dents on the bell and a repair mark on the bell.
There are two small dents from the main tube to the bell that are not noticeable.
There is not much peeling on the slide handle.
There are no deteriorations, malfunctions, or stuck tuning slides that would be concerning to a player.
I believe it is in very good condition for a used instrument.
With instrument prices soaring, I would be happy if young musicians could use it as they grow.
