【Excellent Condition】YAMAHA Oboe YOB-422 Full-Automatic Beautiful Yamaha Oboe

A rare full-automatic model that doesn't come up for sale often,
this is the YAMAHA YOB-422 oboe.

This is the model preceding the YOB-432, which is depicted as the instrument used by Mizore Yoroizuka, the protagonist in Sound! Euphonium and Liz and the Blue Bird.

This instrument was purchased from Central Gakki.
It has been used sparingly and is in comparatively beautiful condition.

The current model, YOB-432, has a list price of ¥550,000 (tax included) and is steadily increasing in price, so we believe this is a great value.

We have tested it for playability, and all notes within the normal playing range were playable.
The octave key return is slightly sluggish, so please consult us regarding balance adjustment.

The nickel silver with silver plating has some tarnish, but
we believe it is a beautiful instrument.

Yamaha oboes are characterized by their reliability, accurate intonation, and bright, clear tone reminiscent of Marigaux, which their design references, as is typical of Japanese manufacturers.

The 422 series, in particular, is said to have been designed with reference to Marigaux of that era.
