I wore them through wind, glare, and a little more excitement than planned when a bear decided I was standing a bit too close to its territory. The small lens scratches are the souvenir from making a very fast retreat through the brush—nothing like a close encounter to test the grip and wrap coverage. They still wear great and have plenty of adventures left in them, but they come with a story you will not get from a brand-new pair. Named after the remote island home of the great Alaskan bears, the Native Eyewear Kodiak XP sunglasses take after the original Kodiak style with a larger fit and upgraded features. Its ventilated brow ridge keeps you cool on hot days or during intense activity, and non-slip Cushinol grip on the nose pads and temples makes it ideal for a variety of sports. The Kodiak XP’s high wrap design offers great peripheral protection from the sun, wind, and irritants from the environment. Enjoy unmatched protection from UV and HEV rays with premium polarized lenses.
