ROYAL HUNTER WELLINGTONS  Authentic Made in Scotland  Square Hobnail soles  Leather-Rubber hybrid  Hand stitched welt  Men's size 10-11, EU 44  This is a rare pair of vintage boots manufactured at the legendary Heathhall factory in Dumfries, most likely 60's 70's. The Gates on the label together with Made in Scotland dates these boots to this particular era.  Originally designed for farmers, gamekeepers, and country gentlemen—who required durable protection for all-day use in the field in Scotland.  Made for a lifetime as heavy-duty, functional footwear for field work and outdoor pursuits in wet, muddy conditions.  They feature a rare method of Leather-Rubber Hybrid sole with a hand stitched welt  Square Hobnail inlaid soles make these boots extra rare, lending a steady foot for fishing in slippery riverbeds, and trudging in muddy conditions.  The blooming of the rubber also helps to date these boots. They can be buffed with a special brush for rubber.  Excellent used condition. Clean inside  See pics for details. Sold as is.
