MCM Lg. Vtg. Wooden Jewelry Box 9 + 1 Compartment. Plays Beautiful Waltz.

This piece is a vintage, mid-century modern (MCM) mini-dresser jewelry box designed to mimic a classic full-sized bedroom triple dresser. Style: The box features an Early American or Spanish Mediterranean revival style popular during the 1960s and 1970s. This aesthetic is characterized by the raised panel molding framing each section and the central arched cabinet panel. Construction: It is crafted from stained wood (often honey oak, maple, or pine) with a clear lacquer finish. It features a flat top surface, a slightly flared bracket base, and sculpted bottom trim. Hardware: The drawers and center door are fitted with dark, ornate blackened metal floral bail pulls or drop loop handles typical of the era. Internal Organization Mechanics and Compartments: Musical Feature: Many identical versions of this specific model. Opening the center drawer or a specific compartment typically triggers a mechanical musical movement playing a classic waltz or melody. Interior Lining: The drawers are typically lined with plush colored velvet or felt to shield rings, necklaces, and trinkets from scratches CONDITION: Item is in very good condition. It has been well cared for. You can see in the pictures I listed. The music does play. I tested it. Please let me know if you have any questions. Authenticity Guaranteed
