Description
This is a unique Santa Claus ornament from the John Grossman Collection (Holiday Designs), produced exclusively for Kurt S. Adler, Inc. The design is based on an image from the John Grossman Collection, which houses a comprehensive archive of Victorian and Edwardian graphic ephemera and Christmas imagery. The ornament features Santa Claus sitting in the basket of a detailed Zeppelin or Airship filled with gifts and toys. This specific term, Zeppelin, more accurately describes the rigid, elongated airship shape of the ornament. It is a charming and collectible piece for Christmas decorators or collectors of Victorian-style holiday items. Comes with the original tag. Tags: John Grossman, Kurt S.
