1960's Vintage Weekenders Blue Poly Pants -Lt. Blue Stitching - Men's Size 32x30

Offered here is a pair of 1960's Vintage Weekenders Blue Polyester Pants - Navy Blue with Light Blue Stitching.  These are a Men's Size 34x32.  Condition of these pants is Excellent Pre-Owned Condition. Truly excellent condition.  These vintage blue polyester pants with light blue or baby blue top stitching were a classic feature of 1960s and 70s casual wear. This contrasting stitching was used to highlight pocket shapes, side seams, and front creases on synthetic, double-knit fabrics.   In the 1960s, polyester was celebrated as a miracle fiber because it was inexpensive, wrinkle-resistant, and required no ironing. Blue polyester pants from this era were a staple of the Peacock Revolution, which brought bold colors and synthetic fabrics to mainstream fashion.  These are known as Tapered Cigarette Pants: These slim-fitting, straight-legged trousers often sat at the high waist and were popular in solid blue and navy.
