Vintage Award Design Medals Cattle Drives 1866-1885 Solid Brass Belt Buckle

Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage belt buckle from Award Design Medals commemorating the historic American cattle drives.  The front features a highly detailed, crisp high-relief design showcasing two Longhorn cattle alongside a cowboy on horseback. It is prominently embossed with the text: Cattle Drives 1866-1885 / 6,000,000 Longhorns Traveled the Trails.  The reverse side is clearly stamped confirming its Solid Brass composition.  This buckle is in Good Vintage Condition. It features a beautiful, natural dark patina in the recessed areas that beautifully highlights the details of the relief. There are minor micro-scratches and light surface wear consistent with its age and gentle use, giving it a fantastic, authentic Western character.
