RARE Shelley England Shape 13894 Cup Saucer Pattern‎ 5.31 Art Deco

Collectors set!! Shelley Fine Bone China England cup and saucer in the distinctive Art Deco geometric form, Shape 13894, Pattern 5.31. This early 1930s example features angular faceted panels with alternating soft blush pink wash and white panels accented by delicate red floral sprigs and grey foliage. The clean, ungilded design reflects Shelley's interwar modernist aesthetic, with a matching faceted saucer and integrated pink handle. Both pieces bear the green Shelley shield backstamp, and the cup retains the handwritten shape number 13894 and pattern number 5.31. Pattern 5.31 is a documented numeric design with limited resale visibility, appealing to shape- and pattern-focused Shelley collectors. No visible cracks or chips observed; light base wear consistent with age. A refined and scarce Deco-era Shelley example.
