This is a very unusual handmade souvenir basket from Tijuana Mexico. The basket is made from shells and wire with a hand painted beach picture on metal. Hand painted scene has palm trees and sailboats on metal base. Painting is chippy. It's very old and may have broken, bent, or missing wires and/or shells. It is 10 diameter with about an 8 handle. It's a very unusual and unique shell collectible. Please see pictures!
