Portuguese vintage 16-inch hand painted Majolica bread platter was Made in Portugal exclusively for Neuwirth, a company known for commissioning fine ceramic pieces. The platter features a charming raised basketweave texture and a beautifully sculpted fruit motif at each end, with plums, blackberries, and reddish pink berries nestled among leafy greens. Soft pink rope-like detailing along the edges adds a delicate finishing touch. The vibrant glaze enhances the intricate relief design, characteristic of Portuguese majolica craftsmanship.  The Hand Painted in Portugal sticker is present and is a testament to quality portugese ceramic artistry. Likely produced in the mid-to-late 20th century.
