Vintage handmade studio pottery tea bowl signed Boots and dated 9/91 on the underside. Features a textured white speckled glaze with expressive brown splatter decoration in an organic abstract pattern. Wheel thrown with an unglazed foot and rustic minimalist form inspired by traditional tea ceramics. A wonderful piece of late 20th century studio pottery with earthy wabi sabi character. Measurements: 6 in diameter. 2-3/8 in height. Condition: Good vintage condition with light age appropriate wear. No major chips or cracks observed. Minor glaze irregularities and variations from the handmade firing process consistent with studio pottery craftsmanship.
