Antique Palmer & Bachelders Coin Silver Large Spoon Boston ~ 7” ~ 40G

This marvelous antique tablespoon or serving spoon is created in gorgeous coin silver with a simple, but elegant design, made by Palmer and Bachelders of Boston, circa 1850. Hallmarks are: Palmer & Bachelders. There is a script engraving of initials likely T. T. on the handle. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Length from top to bottom=~7 inches, Bowl width at widest just under 1.5 inches. This marvelous antique serving spoon has been well cared for, gently used and is in good condition. There is scratching and a small dent commensurate with age and use, but does not impact the beauty or usability of this spoon. It is the perfect addition to your serving collection, particularly if you like the American Boston design!
