The sacred cup is meant to connect you with the gods, wishing for prosperity and sincerity. The lucky spears are to ward off evil spirits and invite good fortune. Please enshrine them in your home altar or similar place.
This year, following the traditional pilgrimage order, I visited Futami Okitama Shrine for Hama Sangu (beach purification), then visited Geku (Outer Shrine) and Naiku (Inner Shrine) in that order, and purchased this item at Naiku.
