??Carpet Story??

Tharparkar, a holy land adjacent to the vast Thar Desert in Sindh Province, Pakistan.
This region is said to be one of the world's oldest weaving cultures, with a history of producing carpets that adorned the courts of the Mughal Empire in ancient times. Even today, its overwhelming intricacy and elegant designs, also known as Pakistani Kashan, continue to captivate collectors worldwide.

??Tharparkar Wool??

This is a harsh desert region with extreme temperature fluctuations. The wool from sheep raised here is rich in natural oils, making it exceptionally supple and tough. As you can see from the photos, despite being 100% wool, it exhibits a superb luster and sheen, like silk, depending on the angle of the light.

The dense weave prevents dirt from penetrating deep into the fibers, making it easy to care for. It has a moderate thickness and a substantial body, so it won't wrinkle when laid on the floor, making it a top-quality piece that can be cherished for decades.

【Characteristics of Hand-Woven Items】
As this item is handmade by skilled artisans, it may have slight distortions or rounded corners, unlike the perfect straight lines of machine-woven carpets. This is a testament to its uniqueness as a one-of-a-kind hand-woven carpet, and we hope you will enjoy it as a symbol of handcrafted warmth.
