This is a used item purchased used.
The engine starts well. The oil also flows well.
This model does not have a fuel primer bulb, so you pull the choke, pull the starter a few times, and when it starts to catch (poron), return the choke and pull the starter a few more times vigorously to start it.
For the first start, please warm up the engine. If you rev it immediately, it will stall.
Once the engine is warm, it revs vigorously. I have confirmed this many times, so I believe there are no issues.
This is only for air-revving; I have not actually cut wood with it.
The chain brake appears to have been removed and does not function.
When I purchased it, the chain was still spinning even at idle, and I thought it could be fixed by adjusting the idle or the L screw on the carburetor.
However, the L and H screw heads were smooth and designed to prevent adjustment, so I managed to remove the L screw and file a slot into it to allow for adjustment. This has resolved the issue, and the chain now stops at idle. The H screw did not require adjustment, so I left it as is. Please check the photos. I also confirmed some minor scratches on the piston. Please check the photos. Therefore, this item is being sold as junk.
