Description

This is a lacquerware set for drinking Otoso, a lucky medicinal liquor, to wish for good health and longevity during the New Year. The set includes a sake pourer (chōshi) for the liquor, three stacked cups (sakazuki), and a tray and cup stand to hold them.
The character to (屠) in Otoso is said to mean to ward off evil spirits, and so (蘇) means to revive the soul.
I have taken many photos, so please take a look. The last photo is for illustrative purposes.
Please only bid if you are serious and will not cancel your purchase.
