3M? DI-NOC? Film Auxiliary Material Primer DP-900N3

This liquid enhances the adhesion of DI-NOC? film when it is difficult to apply. It is also recommended for applications requiring particularly strong adhesion.
It offers excellent heat resistance, plasticizer resistance, and alkali resistance. It is effective when applying DI-NOC? film over existing film, or when applying to materials such as vinyl chloride steel plates, plastics (excluding polyethylene, polypropylene, and fluororesins), mortar, asbestos cement boards, and wood.

● Basic Usage Instructions
1. Prepare the substrate.
If the substrate is already smooth, this step is not necessary. If it is rough, smooth the substrate surface with sandpaper or similar. Fill any uneven areas with putty and then sand.
2. Clean the surface.
Clean the substrate surface of dirt, dust, and grease with a cloth dampened with thinner or alcohol.
3. Apply the primer.
Apply evenly with a brush or similar tool. The application area per liter is 15-30 m2 (varies depending on the substrate. For highly absorbent substrates, apply two or three coats).
4. Allow to dry.
Drying time varies depending on ambient temperature, humidity, and application amount, but 15 to 30 minutes is optimal. When using Primer DP-900N3 in winter (around 10°C), 3 hours is required.
5. Clean up.
Remove excess primer from brushes and surrounding areas with lacquer thinner or similar (wipe off before the primer fully cures).

● Precautions
○ Store this product below 38°C. If left open, it will react with moisture in the air and its performance as a primer will decrease. Transfer only the amount needed to another container for use.
