This is an evergreen perennial plant from the genus Sansevieria (Chitose Ran) in the Asparagaceae family, native to Africa.
This plant was imported from Thailand without a label.
It has been managed for root development and has been grown in my home for about 3 years.
It has a growth habit similar to Aloe polyphylla and is quite large, making it a specimen plant that is impressive to behold.
It has high shade tolerance and grows well indoors, such as by a window.
