The owner's initials VL and the inscription 98-67 were found, likely indicating the date of purchase or when it was received as a gift.
In Finland, the order of reading the year, month, and day is reversed compared to Japan, so it can be inferred that it was purchased or received as a gift on August 9, 1967.
Although originally known to have been designed in 1970, this is a rare item from the period when it was handmade by a silversmith at Kultakeskus before being produced in silver and bronze in 1970.
