Coasters, Zelkova, Tame Kaki-awase, 4.0

Coasters, Zelkova (Keyaki), Tame Kaki-awase (Tame Kaki-awase)
These coasters are made from domestic zelkova wood and have a rich texture.
Zelkova wood has beautiful grain and is hard and durable, making it suitable for furniture and lacquerware since ancient times. You can use them with confidence for everyday use as well as for guests.
**Tame Kaki-awase** is a traditional technique where after applying layers of red and black lacquer, the surface is polished to subtly reveal the color of the lower layer and the wood grain.
It has a deep amber color (reddish-brown to blackish-brown) with a calm, aged appearance and elegant luster, and each piece has a unique expression.
These coasters have a timeless design that evokes a sense of Japanese aesthetics.

These are particularly thin and beautifully crafted.
The box was deteriorated, so it has been disposed of and will not be shipped.
