【Product Description】
This is a 1940s American-made Telechron Coca-Cola advertising clock.
With a diameter of approximately 370mm, it's a large size suitable for spacious living rooms. The red case, domed glass cover, and classic numeral dial with a minimalist design exude functional beauty. While the case appears to have a substantial feel, as if made of steel with four screws visible, it's actually an older model made of cardboard (hard paper). The case is made of pressed hard paper with a red paint finish and is quite lightweight. (The case is clean with no peeling or dirt, so it may have been repainted later.)
The case, hands, and dial are original. The dial is not pure white but has yellowed with age, and there are scattered pinhole-like chips. The glass cover is very clean. The back cover is made of particleboard (wood chips mixed with adhesive and molded), but a round window has been added in the center for easier time adjustment and battery replacement. It's slightly larger than GE clocks from the 60s-70s and has a strong presence, making it recommended not only for home use but also for stylish shops, cafes, and personal offices. For this listing, the original electric movement has been replaced with a quartz movement (Rhythm Clock (CITIZEN): AA battery specification). It's a sweep-type quartz movement, so it moves smoothly rather than ticking. Please perform battery changes and time adjustments through the window on the back.
Please note that some clocks sold by other vendors may have had their original hands replaced with generic ones or hands from other clocks.
