Deciduous Broadleaf Tree Foliage: Japanese Maple (Yama Momiji)
*Baby seedlings, 5 unpotted plants, chosen at random.
↑We really don't recommend this, but...
These sprouted in a spot at our home that gets too much sun.
These are baby maple seedlings that grew up with direct sunlight from the east.

After arrival, they will need to be kept in the shade to recover.
We will monitor them in a cell tray.
We plan to sell cell-tray seedlings later.
We won't sell them until the roots are established, but... (^^;)
Please wait.

In early spring, the young leaves are reddish-green.
↓
In early summer, they turn a lush green.
↓
In late autumn, you can enjoy the red Momiji.

Momiji are deciduous trees that can be enjoyed twice a year.
They turn a deep red from October to November and then shed their leaves.

Actually, you can enjoy Momiji (fall foliage) twice! (*′艸`)
The new shoots in early spring are red, so they are called spring Momiji.
The transition from red to green, the gradation, is actually the most beautiful.
