This is an 8-year-old seedling of a Nasu Japanese White Pine. The height of the seedling itself is approximately 19cm above ground and 22cm in width. This item belongs to the Unryu (Cloud Dragon) series, where the branches and leaves are likened to trailing clouds and the tree's flow to a coiling dragon. While some may consider this pine's uneven branch structure to be in need of pruning, its extraordinary appearance can also be seen as a beauty. Rather than removing many branches, its unique form, which maximizes its natural state, possesses an inherent beauty. Old leaves may remain for a long time and appear unsightly, but they are left until the new foliage fully emerges. The wire is loosely applied; please remove it before it bites into the bark. The natural habitat is the Nasu mountain range in northern Tochigi Prefecture, characterized by its beautiful, straight, young green needles. You will receive the individual plant shown in the photos (management number NGY-7239). Shipping will be via Yu-Pack on weekdays only. We will take great care to ensure adequate moisture during packing, but please refrain from purchasing if you will have difficulty receiving the package for an extended period. Furthermore, as raising seedlings of Japanese White Pine from carefully selected seeds is not easy, with challenges in germination rates, we kindly ask for your understanding regarding price reductions.
