Description
Elm Zelkova Shohin Bonsai
The Elm Zelkova, with its densely packed small leaves, offers the grandeur of a large tree in a miniature bonsai. It delights with its changing expressions throughout the seasons: the vibrant green of new spring foliage, the golden yellow of autumn leaves, and the beauty of its bare branches in winter. This deciduous tree is hardy, resistant to dryness and heat, making it easy for beginners to grow.
New Greenery: Vivid green leaves sprout around April to July.
Momiji: Turns beautiful shades of yellow and orange from November to December.
Winter Tree: After losing its leaves in winter, the branch structure can be admired on its own.
Care: Prefers outdoors with plenty of sunlight and good ventilation.
While the Elm Zelkova does not have an official flower meaning, its characteristics have led to it being associated with auspicious meanings such as Good Luck, Health, and Longevity. It is also popular as a bonsai, and its robust nature evokes images of Bonds and Nobility.
We will pack and ship using recycled cardboard boxes.
We look forward to hearing from those who wish to continue caring for it.
