[PSB: Photosynthetic Bacteria]
PSB is a general term for bacteria that grow autotrophically or heterotrophically using light energy in the presence of hydrogen, hydrogen sulfide, and carbon dioxide.
While the word bacteria might sound harmful to living organisms, these are completely harmless. In fact, they are rich in amino acids, vitamins, and carotenoids, bringing only positive effects.
For Medaka, they can be expected to promote growth, enhance coloration, and increase spawning rates. For fry, it is known that their survival rate significantly increases when fed with PSB.
Furthermore, they have water purification effects by decomposing nitrates, which are a source of water pollution.
They can also be used as liquid fertilizer for gardening, and for culturing Paramecium and Daphnia.

[Recommended Usage of Photosynthetic Bacteria]
For tanks 30cm or smaller (10-20L): 5ml during water changes, 0.5ml daily
For tanks 30-45cm (20-40L): 13ml during water changes, 1ml daily
For tanks 60cm (60L): 25ml during water changes, 2ml daily
For tanks 90cm (180L): 75ml during water changes, 6ml daily
For tanks 120cm (240L): 100ml during water changes, 8ml daily
