Description

This is a square dust box (waste bin) made of Kabazaiku (cherry bark craft), a traditional craft from Kakunodate, Akita Prefecture, known as the Little Kyoto of Michinoku.
It features a very elegant and modern design with a beautifully shaped, flower-like cutout for the top opening.

★Convenient design with a removable lid!
The structure is highly practical, making it difficult to see the trash bag set inside from the outside and easy to dispose of trash.

This is a completely unused item that has been stored, complete with a bookmark from Satoku Garden, a renowned craft shop on Kakunodate's samurai district street, and a Certificate of Authenticity (note regarding foreign imitations) issued by the Kakunodate Crafts Cooperative and the Kakunodate Town Kabazaiku Merchants Association.

It possesses the beautiful luster and texture unique to natural wild cherry bark, blending wonderfully not only with Japanese-style rooms but also with modern Western-style interiors.

My mother-in-law purchased this during a trip to Kakunodate, but it has been stored unused for a long time. The outer box is included, but it is dirty, so please consider it for packaging purposes only.
