The following is a quote:
PPSU is an amorphous plastic characterized by a high glass transition point and extremely low water absorption. It offers superior impact resistance, chemical resistance, and steam sterilization durability compared to PSU and PES, which are also polysulfone-based. It has a proven track record of use in the medical field, particularly in orthopedics.
It is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, including acids and bases. It shows little degradation even when exposed to high-temperature chlorinated water for extended periods.
