This is a dead specimen of a Northern Crested Newt. It is currently kept frozen as a preservative treatment. It is intended for specimen purposes.

Selling live animals is prohibited on Mercari.

The specimen will degrade even while frozen. Also, its shape may collapse during thawing.

It has been repeatedly frozen and thawed in the past, resulting in significant degradation.

We plan to ship via refrigerated delivery (frozen) with payment on delivery, but we are flexible with other shipping methods. However, shipping methods without tracking (e.g., standard mail) are not permitted.

If you wish for prepaid shipping, please contact us in advance with your prefecture, as shipping costs vary by region. Please note that this may result in higher costs.

Furthermore, sufficient reinforcement may not be possible depending on the availability of reinforcement materials. Reinforcement does not guarantee the safe arrival of the item. We are not responsible for any damage to the item due to insufficient reinforcement.
