★Product Details
Uruma Pottery (Uruma Touki) refers to a relatively new style of pottery made around Uruma City in Okinawa Prefecture. It is characterized by incorporating modern sensibilities and designs while being based on traditional Okinawan pottery culture. The uniquely blended glazes reproduce the gradation of blue, from the sandy beaches of Okinawa to the shallows and out to the open sea.
Recommended for those who like Yachimun (Okinawan pottery) or Okinawan雑貨 (zakka - miscellaneous goods).
