Country House CPC2 Stool, formerly Mitsukoshi Furniture, Oak

◆ Made by the former Mitsukoshi Furniture

This stool, while embodying the 18th-century English country style, captivates with its antique charm and elegance, perfectly suited for Japanese living spaces. Its design, tailored to Japanese body types, offers a high balance of functionality and comfort, making it a beloved piece for many years. The antique finish, achieved through a process taking more than twice the usual effort to create a look of long-term use and highlight the beautiful grain of the oak, and the turned woodwork where the raw wood is hand-carved, are all part of a design aesthetic that has remained unchanged since 1975. Each piece is a treasure that can be collected over time. Its compact form, which enhances the sense of space in Japanese homes, has been favorably described as charming across generations. Please experience the natural warmth of the wood, the handmade feel, and the texture of the wiped finish with all your senses.
