This chair was used at my parents' home.
It has been used for about 18 years, and while the paper cord shows signs of use, the armrests have a nice patina that you wouldn't find on a new one.

There are some stains on the seat and legs.

In the design of the CH24, Wegner made an innovative attempt, unseen in chair design before, to integrate the armrests and backrest into a single piece. The distinctive Y-shaped backrest provides stability and a comfortable feel to this curved wooden armrest. This shape is why it's called the Wishbone Chair. The origin of the Wishbone Chair can be traced back to a portrait of a Danish merchant sitting on a Chinese chair. The Ming Dynasty chair the merchant is sitting on is the design's origin. With its wonderful feel and usability, and its beautiful form with characteristic lines, the CH24 Wishbone Chair is highly regarded by many as a chair that fulfills both functionality and aesthetic beauty. It can truly be called the essence of Danish Modern design. The CH24 requires over 100 production steps to complete, most of which are crafted by hand by artisans. The process of weaving the paper cord onto the seat alone takes an hour for even a skilled craftsman and is a crucial step. Approximately 120 meters of strong and durable paper cord are used per chair, creating a seat that can be used for many years.
