Mid-century! Genuine Leather Chair, Deadstock Antique! Flawed, Vintage German

Purchased about 20 years ago at Visions Cosmiques in Shinsaibashi, Osaka.
It was a mid-century modern antique furniture store that no longer exists, but I loved it at the time.
It was apparently overseas deadstock.
I've forgotten the designer's name, but it cost around 50,000 yen back then.

Originally, the backrest was also upholstered in leather, but it dried out and cracked while stored in a warehouse for some time.
The leather tore when I tried to remove the weakened parts.
The leather on one of the armrests is also torn.
I loved the design so much that I wanted to repair the leather and use it again, but I'm reluctantly selling it because I'll have less space after moving.
The wooden legs have a stunning finish.
I would like to sell it to someone who can appreciate its coolness, either by repairing it to use it again, or by using it as is, embracing the unevenness and character of the leather without the backrest.
While I can pack it, it's a large item, so shipping will be expensive if sent cash on delivery.
If you are able to pick it up by car within the city, please send me a message.

As this is a vintage item, please understand that the leather on the backrest is torn and the overall condition is not good, and repair it before use.
If you require shipping, there will be an additional charge of 2000 yen.
It will be simply packaged.
Please consult with me.
