Description
This is bamboo charcoal made from true bamboo from Shizuoka Prefecture.
The bamboo was prepared, then baked and sifted into different sizes.
These are small pieces, ranging from 1cm to 3mm.
Uses: For gardening and soil improvement.
How to use: Mix 5% to 10% bamboo charcoal with the amount of soil.
Main effects: Improves aeration, microbial environment, water retention and drainage, and makes the soil fluffy. Use to help adjust soil that has become too acidic in Japan's rainy climate. (Most vegetables prefer slightly acidic to neutral soil, pH 6-7).
Good for: Succulents, leeks, tomatoes, herbs.
Packaging: Used cardboard box (100 size, 27x28x41cm), polyethylene bag (0.03mm), with the opening secured by wire in two places (to prevent fine powder leakage).
The photos show the boxed product being sun-dried after being weighed on a home scale, representing the actual quantity. After drying, the weight is 4.1kg.
