This is a mortar that was used at my parents' home. It appears to be Mino ware, but I am not entirely sure.
It's a convenient size, about 25 cm in diameter. It weighs over 1 kg, so I believe it can be held securely and won't wobble easily, but this is just my personal opinion.
There are also some light stains on the outside, and it shows signs of use, but there are no cracks or chips.
You might also consider using it for purposes other than cooking.
As you can see from the top view, it is not a perfect circle and has a slight deformation in one part. Please understand that this is its intended shape.
