Konjac is typically made from 3-year-old tubers (about the size of a medium pumpkin), but if the tubers are larger, you can make homemade konjac anytime.
I heard from a neighbor that in the past, they used plant ash as a coagulant, and it worked.
These will grow leaves and the tubers will get bigger.
I left them planted for a few years, and was surprised to see a small flower bloom, similar in shape to the giant konjac plants seen in botanical gardens on TV.
