This listing is for 3 Jerusalem artichoke seedlings (in 3 pots).
Image 1 is a sample. They were planted in pots in early April.

We will send you the largest seedlings from Image 2 in order. As time passes, the seedlings may grow larger than those shown in the images.

Image 8 is a sample. They were planted in early March and have grown to about 45cm above ground.

As they grow quickly, the stems may be slightly bent to fit them in the packaging.

We plan to ship them using Nekoposu (a compact delivery service) after removing them from their pots and packaging them.

If the seedlings do not fit in the Nekoposu box, we may cut the Jerusalem artichokes.

Jerusalem artichokes are rich in inulin, a water-soluble dietary fiber, which is said to be a natural insulin, not starch. It serves as food for good bacteria and is believed to improve constipation and suppress blood sugar spikes.

They can grow to a height of 2-3 meters, making them good for shade. The stems are hollow inside, so even elderly people can easily cut them.

Jerusalem artichokes can be harvested from around November.

There are many resources online about how to grow and eat them, so please look them up. Inulin is heat-resistant, so it is believed to be better for digestion when heated.

Please be mindful of overconsumption and allergies. It is recommended to start by eating small amounts.
