Regular U-shaped cushions sank and were painful and unusable for me. This cushion has firmness and protected the affected area without sinking.

There are some black smudges on the synthetic leather cover. They could not be removed even after wiping with disinfectant wipes. However, the cover itself is still sturdy and does not affect usability.
