【Showa Retro】Single Futon Mattress, 100% Cotton, Custom-Made by Specialist, Beautiful Condition, Top/Bottom Markers on Both Sides

【For the New Year / New Life】
This is a single-size futon with a Showa retro design, featuring a vibrant blue background with cute red plum blossoms and graceful bamboo, utilizing traditional shibori and kanoko patterns.
It was custom-made at a specialty futon store for guests but has been barely used.
You can appreciate the craftsmanship of Japanese artisans through its meticulous stitching and durable construction.

The filling still has its loft, and the outer fabric appears to be free of noticeable stains.
A separate piece of cloth is sewn on to indicate the top and bottom of the futon (Photo 7), a testament to the subtle thoughtfulness of Japanese craftsmanship.
Cotton, a natural material, is becoming increasingly limited in quality, and its price is rising year by year.
By having it re-fluffed at a futon shop, it can be a recycled, eco-friendly, and economical material.
