Strong-Twisted Hemp Cotton Coat
Takashima Shrink, produced in Takashima, Shiga Prefecture, is made using a unique manufacturing method that involves strongly twisting the weft yarn, primarily of natural fibers, and fixing the puckered texture through a special processing. This fabric is based on traditional Takashima Shrink, but by using hemp yarn for the warp and organic cotton yarn for the weft, it achieves higher strength and comfort. The puckered and stretchy feel, created by the yarn's twist rather than synthetic fiber elasticity, will not be lost even with long-term wear. It does not cling to the skin, making it very cool and wearable for extended periods. The design features a linear pattern, creating a flat structure. A gentle shoulder slope allows it to naturally conform to a wide range of body types, with a relaxed silhouette that considers space around the body. Pockets are included on both sides, and freshwater shell buttons are used.
