A set of 6 luxurious, gilded washi papers.
It's a shame we can't convey its beauty in the images, but you can enjoy its dazzling sparkle.
The gold color is achieved by vapor-depositing pure silver onto thin washi paper, followed by yellow coloring.
It is a very thin and supple washi paper.
To prevent creases, it will be folded in half and sent in an envelope.

※ Hikihaku (引箔) is washi paper used in Nishijin weaving (mainly for high-end obi sashes). Pure silver or gold leaf is used, and there are various techniques such as lacquering, dyeing, firing, and rubbing. There are many varieties, and many of the techniques are company secrets, with various names for the techniques.

※ This item has been stored at home. As it is old washi paper, please view the images and refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
