Last year, rainwater collected in the bucket where my child grew rice in our garden. I put lotus seeds in it, left it as is, and checked this morning (April 18, 2024) to find that sprouts have indeed emerged.
These are inexpensive varieties that are easy to grow, so please give it a try!

Seeds have pre-drilled tips!
Just put them in water.

Sprouts in about 3-7 days.
1. Fill a pot with about 10-15 cm of soil.
2. Add water to create a water depth of 5-10 cm above the soil.
3. Gently insert the sprouted seeds into the soil with the sprout facing upwards.

● Sunlight
? Requires direct sunlight for more than 6 hours a day.
→ Insufficient sunlight will prevent flowering.

● Water Management
? Initial stage: 5-10 cm
? After growth: 10-20 cm
→ Be careful not to let the water dry out.

● Temperature
? 20-35℃ is optimal.

● Fertilizer
? After true leaves emerge (3-4 leaves)
? Apply a small amount of slow-release fertilizer.

Flowering Period
? When grown from seed: Blooms in about 2-3 months.

Precautions
? Water smells bad → Change water + ensure sunlight.
? Flowers not blooming → Likely due to insufficient sunlight.
? Yellow leaves → Insufficient fertilizer or low temperature.
